We’re not like the rest.

27th January 2023

2022/2023

We had a record-breaking 2022 at Low Carbon Energy, celebrating some huge project wins and expanding our already great team. There’s no “New Year, New Us” to be found here – we’re carrying our dedication to our customers and partners through into the new year.

With tonnes of great projects already planned for 2023, and plenty more to follow, we needed to make sure we had the team to match. We recruited an additional 7 members of the Low Carbon family last year, and we’re not done yet!

If you want to be part of a growing, supportive team, head over to our careers page to have a look at the great opportunities we currently have available.

What makes us so great

“Inspiring change today, that protects future generations.”

For us, this is more than just a slogan. It’s an ethos that’s woven into the core of the business, and is present in everything that we do.

Our solar PV systems don’t just save our customers money, but also help them to take a huge step in creating a more environmentally conscious, sustainable future. So far our systems alone have saved a whopping 15,570,000 tonnes of carbon from being emitted into the atmosphere.

We’re also big on giving back. We want to make sure that the change towards a more climate driven future is not just a pipe dream, but is something that’s tangible and achievable. That’s why we have partnered with Positive Footprints, a charity based here in Burnley, enabling us to go into local schools and talk to students and we work on ways to inspire the next generation to pursue a career in STEM.

Why you should want to work with us

It’s not just the planet we’re passionate about looking after – we care about our team, too. We are well aware of the importance of a healthy work / life balance, and our staff are as important an asset as any in our success, creating an atmosphere where they feel happy and valued is crucial for bringing the best out in them.

We offer a range of benefits to our team members, to support their growth and development in the workplace. These include: flexible working hours, training opportunities, a friendly and supportive environment and the opportunity to be a part of a rapidly expanding, current field of work.

Be ahead of the trend

An increasing amount of people are quitting their jobs to work for businesses aiding in the fight against climate change. A recent article published by Bloomberg states that number of “climate quitters” is growing, as people look for new opportunities in environmentally responsible businesses. If you’re looking for a new job, why not be a part of the change for good?

We’re currently recruiting some new members to fill some great roles here at Low Carbon, so head over to our careers page if you want to be a part of a growing business which not only does good for the planet, but for the people as well.

We look forward to hearing from you.
