POSITIVE FOOTPRINTS
At Low Carbon Energy we are proud to be partnered with Positive Footprints, an amazing local organisation committed to closing the skills gap in the UK, by helping children realise their full potential, and their ambitions for their future careers.
Our work with Positive Footprints involves interacting with children and young people directly, giving them more information about what it’s like to have a career in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) and how they can go about achieving it.
Our Programmes
RASING ASPIRATIONS PROGRAMME
This award-winning primary school programme by Positive Footprints is all about Raising Aspirations for young children, and giving them more knowledge and confidence to pursue a career that really matters to them – so that they’ll leave positive footprints wherever they go in life.
FUTURE MONEY PROGRAMME
The Futures programme is designed to help children get to grips with essential financial skills they’ll need for later life. It gives them the facts about money, while teaching them vital skills in how to manage it, and helping them to understand why these will be so important for their careers and later life.
