Project Overview

While excelling in the automotive industry, Bowker Motor Group also demonstrates a commitment to environmental sustainability. The company recently embarked on a project with Low Carbon Energy to install Solar PV systems across its Preston and Blackburn sites. This initiative reflects their dedication to reducing their environmental impact and promoting renewable energy solutions. Bowker Motor Group’s proactive approach to green initiatives sets them apart as a forward-thinking and responsible industry leader.

The project consists of 1,494, 490-Watt Q Cells Q Peak duo ML-GLL+ panels and is spread across multiple roofs between the two sites. Becoming fully operational in early 2023, combined, the two sites will produce 732,060 kWh of clean energy each year, and save an impressive 247 tonnes of carbon.
