Project Overview

Having discovered Low Carbon Energy through the Carbon Trust’s accredited supplier list, Courtesy Shoes were quick to meet and discuss their requirements. After exploring their options, the company decided to pick Low Carbon Energy for the design and installation of Solar Panels for the generation of electricity – as a result of our professional, no-nonsense approach.

Following discussions with the team, we decided a 170 KW Solar Panel system would be the best fit for the company’s warehouse. This system would generate around 140,000 kWh a year and save 75 tonnes of carbon each year too. What’s more, the new system would also offer a return of investment in excess of 20 % – with an annual income of around £30,000 a year!

Of course, all these perks came alongside all the usual benefits of using solar panels, including its environmental advantages and long-term security of energy supply. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that the company also decided to have additional solar panel systems fitted at a number of their other warehouses – increasing company savings.
