Crow Wood Hotel & Spa

Faced with the substantial energy demands typical of hotel and leisure facilities, the luxurious spa resort turned to our expertise in 2023 to install a ground-mounted solar PV system.

The project aimed to address rising energy demands while reducing the resort’s carbon footprint, with the ultimate goal of achieving self-sufficiency in energy production, particularly during the summer months.

By March 2024, we got to work installing over 2,200 solar panels, that would eventually deliver an impressive 891,927 kWh of clean energy annually. This is equivalent to powering 350 average UK homes and reducing CO₂ emissions by 196 tonnes every year.

Despite weather-related challenges at the time of installation, just three months later, the project was complete. The system now offsets a fantastic 27% of Crow Wood’s electricity needs and forms a key component in the resort’s energy strategy and sustainability initiatives.
