Commercial solar project co-ordinator

• Interpreting system designs and completing take off material requirements.
• Obtaining competitive material quotes from our supplier base (direct and distributors).
• Placing orders for sub-contractors’ materials, plant and equipment.
• Pre and post contract financial reporting including monthly reports.
• Working closely with the projects team to ensure timely delivery of all the above.
• This will include booking of structural and electrical surveys and liaising closely with the Operations team to set up projects and assist in programme management.
• Building and maintaining relationships with all our supply chain.
• Looking for and delivering cost efficiencies with all our projects.
• Updating project management software.
• We operate to ISO 9001 and 14001 and you will be required to work within our systems and procedures.
• We operate to company and individual KPI’s so maintaining records and reporting is very important.

Ideally You will have experience in a similar role in the solar industry or construction related industry. Awareness of product and a base knowledge of solar would be an advantage but training will be given.

• Proven experience 2-4 years and strong network in the UK energy solution space, the C&I and M&E sectors.
• Strong communication skills: able to communicate clearly, effectively and to the point at top executive and director level.
• Team-player and desire to influence and grow professionally in a fast moving and growing  environment.
• Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
• Strong project management capabilities: being able to coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
• Used to working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
• We would expect that the candidate will be open to researching the market for product development and improvement.
• We would expect the candidate would be prepared to take on the necessary product training and proactively seek to continue their own development on tailored CPD training.
• Proficiency in standard MS and Excel packages and able to use CRM packages/software.
• Fluent in English.
